Mike Roberts, a disciple of Christ Jesus
by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope,
To all my true brothers and sisters in the faith:
Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father
and Christ Jesus our Lord.
As a child I was brought up with the most loving, caring,
self sacrificing parents in the world.
Although Christmas was based on Santa Clause,
I soon learned of Satan. Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll
(666) as I called them, became my life for too long.
Only by God's grace did I live through this time. Then one day as I boasted to a friend at work of the power of darkness in my life.
His response to me was "we should do something about that"
My response to him as I raised my hand and pointed up was,
"It's not up to us, it"s up to Him."
Jesus then literally took hold of my hand and transformed my life.
Fearful and completely unaware of anything other then getting home to a Bible, I then ask God, what do you want from me.
Opening the Bible I was given my personal mission statement
along with a warning.
2 Cor 11:12
"But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast."NKJV
Not understanding who I was or what I was to do,
or who those were desiring to be who I had become, a Christian.
Soon after meeting my future wife, seeing she was studying the Bible.
I with all interest in being as they were, Jehovah's Witnesses.
I started sharing with others that Jesus was the Son of God not God.
Only to learn of my past warning,
for they had come with the other Jesus.
2 Cor 11:4
For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted
you may well put up with it!
My Wife and I spent 18 years raising 3 children in a Bible teaching church.
Serving in many blessed ministry's up until November 13, 2007.
At which time Jesus opened the door of our home to be used for
His Glory.
Remember,
Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else,
for there is no other name under heaven given to us by which we must be saved."
So now i find myself living,
Acts 4:13
When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
